PRODUCT WARRANTY

This Product Warranty (Policy) is issued by SEA Groups Ltd. (SEA) and applies to the products
manufactured by SEA, and are purchased by an User/Customer from an authorized distributor/dealer for
water heating installations worldwide.

1.  WARRANTIES
SEA Groups provides warranties set forth in this Policy subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions
provided for herein.

1.1        COPPER MANIFOLD OF THE PRESSURIZED COLLECTOR
SEA Groups hereby warrants for a period of twelve (12) years from the date of installation of its solar
collector to the Customer, the collector copper manifold shall be free from manufacturing defects when
operated within specified pressures and using approved liquids.
Items that this warranty will exclude:
a) Leakage from any connection to header inlet or outlet;
b) Damages resulting from exposure of the manifold header pipe to pressure exceeding 0.8
Mpa/8bar/116 psi;
c) Damages resulting from exposure to flow rates exceeding 16 L/min or 4.23 gpm;
d) Damages resulting from the freezing of any liquid within the manifold header pipe;
e) Leaks in the manifold header piping due to metallic corrosion, not contributed to structural braze
failure;
f) Reduced performance of heat transfer or pressure drop due to blockage in the header as a result of
scale build up; and
g) Installation of more than two manifolds in a series without flexible connections at every second
manifold.
For a Customer to file a claim in connection with this warranty, the following conditions must be met:
a) Customer must provide SEA Groups or its Distributor with a dated photograph of the solar collector
showing a water trail from the solar collector, as well as a dated photograph of the serial plate;
b) Customer must provide the original order copy with shipment date and the products serial number
when making a warranty claim;
c) The solar collector of the installed system that is the subject to the claim must have been filed with
SEA Groups Ltd. within thirty (30) days after the date of installation;
d) The solar collector that is the subject of the claim must be kept in storage and made available for
inspection by SEA Groups or its Distributor / designee upon the request of SEA Groups.

1.2  SOLAR COLLECTOR VACUUM TUBES
SEA Groups warrants its collector vacuum tubes free from manufacturing defects resulting in
spontaneous loss of vacuum for twelve (12) years from the date of the delivery to the Customer. This
warranty excludes loss of vacuum due to breakage, transport or installation.
For Customer to file a claim in connection with this warranty, the following conditions must be met:
a) Customer must provide SEA Groups with a dated photograph of the tube still installed in the solar
collector showing silver mirror bottom end and no structural tube damage; and
b) The vacuum tube must be removed and kept in storage for inspection by SEA Groups or its
Distributor/designee upon the request of SEA Groups.

1.3  PRESSURIZED SOLAR COLLECTOR HEAT PIPE
Sea Groups hereby warrants the heat pipes in its pressurized solar collectors are free from
manufacturing defects for ten (10) years from the date of installation.
For Customer to file a claim in connection with this warranty, the following conditions must be met:
a) Customer must provide to SEA Groups photographs a dated photograph showing the point of failure (if
applicable);
b) The heat pipe must be kept in storage and made available for inspection by SEA Groups or its
Distributor/designee upon the request of SEA Groups;
c) The heat pipe must kept in normal working condition, or the collector remains normal by correct
connecting the system controller, or the system controller has been setup correctly and kept working
normally all the times since the date of the solar system installed;
e) The relevant solar system components have been proved working properly since the date of the solar
system installed;
f) There is no electrical power being turned off for a period of time longer than one month and the
collector is not covered properly during the period resulting in the heat pipe over heated.

For Customer to receive any remedies in connection with a breach of this warranty, the following
conditions must be met:
a) Customer must provide SEA Groups with a dated photograph of the heat pipe providing reasonable
visual evidence of the defect; and
b) The solar heat pipe must be kept in original working condition for inspection by SEA Groups or its
designee upon the request of SEA Groups.

1.4  SOLAR CONVERSION VALVE
SEA Groups provides/transfers the solar conversion valves’ manufacture warranty to its Distributor/
customers since SEA Groups is not manufacturing the valves itself.  Any manufacturing defects of the
valves installed in SEA’s solar system, SEA Groups and its Distributor/disignee will report and request
the valve manufacture to resolve according to the original warranty policy.

1.5        SYSTEM CONTROLLER
SEA Groups provides the manufacturing warranty for the solar system electronic controller working
normally for one (1) year from the date of delivery of the controller to a Customer, the system controller’s
electronic parts shall be free from manufacturing defects resulting in failure of any electronic components
when operating within specified allowable normal working environments (not including connection to
incorrect electric power supply), provide that this warranty excludes:
a) Failure due to exposure to external forces such as being dropped, or excessive torque forces on the
threaded parts;
b) Failure as a result of the controller exposure to water or any other liquid;
c) Failure as a result of incorrect wiring installation connections, temperature sensors, and exterior
components;
d) Failure as a result of lightning strike;
e) Functional failure of the controller as a clear result of physical damage or unauthorized attempts to
repair and;
f) Incorrect power supply, excessive voltage or surges from external equipment, or damage occurring as
a result of external short circuit.
g) Failure of the LCD screen as it exposed to the direct sunlight for long period of time;
h) Failure due to use of non-SEA supplied sensors;
i) Failure where sensors are submerged in water/liquid;
j) Failure of sensors when exposed to excessive temperatures.

For Customer to receive any remedies in connection with this warranty, the following conditions must be
met:
a) Customer must provide to SEA Groups a dated photograph of the system controller providing
reasonable visual evidence of the defect; and
b) The system controller must be made available for inspection by SEA Groups or its
Distributor/designee for the function defects, and the system controller must be kept in the original
working condition when the inspection taken place upon the request of SEA Groups.

2.  QUALIFICATIONS REGARDING WARRANTY
The warranties of the Products set forth above in this Policy shall not apply if:
a) Damage resulting from use of a Product for any purpose other than its intended purpose, as well as
any neglect, accident, or ordinary wear and tear;
b) Damage resulting from transport, shipping, handling or any act of God or other Force Majeure;
c) Damage resulting from frozen liquid in system pipes
d) Result from installation that is not in accordance with SEA Groups installation and operation manual;
e) Result from misaligned or non-leveled frame or all relevant safety regulations and any regional
authority regulations;
f) Result from failure of using mounting brackets, fasteners or screws, straps or other components for
solar collector mounting that are either supplied or not supplied by SEA Groups;
g) Results in damage to the solar collector due to the failure of fastening to prevent movement or
vibration of the Product;
h) No component of the Solar Collector is damaged as a result of exposure to wind speeds exceeding 80
mph.  Claims with wind speeds will be confirmed by reputable third party weather report;
i) Results in damage due to unreasonable conditions or mechanical forces that exceed the levels that
component materials were made to withstand;
j) Results in damage due to the use of defective parts or components not manufactured by SEA Groups
k) Results in damage due to the system being altered in any way other than its intended use;
l) Results in damage due to maintenance or repair completed by unauthorized persons;
m) Results in damage due to the Product being relocated from its original point of installation;
n) Results in damage due to the use of a glycol based heat transfer liquid if collector is left exposed to
sunlight without effective collector cover or heat dissipation, with exception of stagnation due to the
system or component failure or power outage.
o) Results in damage are due to the collector being left dry and exposed to daily sunlight (not covered) for
(14) consecutive days.

3.  REMEDIES FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY
A Customer must notify the SEA Groups and its Distributor promptly in writing of any alleged defects. SEA
Groups or its Distribuor/designee will investigate the claim and report its findings.  Based upon the
investigation, review and report, SEA Groups will have the right in its sole and absolute discretion to
determine whether or not the defect violates the applicable warranty.  CUSTOMER’S SOLE AND
EXCLUSIVE REMEDY WITH RESPECT TO ANY BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY BY A PRODUCT DURING
THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD WILL BE THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT
BY A DESIGNEE OF SEA GROUPS OR, A REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT TO
THE CUSTOMER.  These remedies will be provided with a reasonable amount of time and without
additional charge.  SEA Groups will not be responsible for any costs or expenses associated with the
investigation or analysis of an alleged defect or any repair charges for service to the Products that is not
covered by the warranty.  SEA Group’s total liability to Customer with respect to any Product shall be
limited to Customer’s purchase price for the Product.  SEA GROUPS WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO ANY
PARTY, INCLUDING THE CUSTOMER, FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL,
INDIRECT, LIQUIDATED, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, SPECULATIVE OR OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGES,
INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY DAMAGES TO PROPERTY OR COST OR REPLACEMENT
GOODS, RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY BY A PRODUCT OR ANY PRODUCT
DEFECT.  This paragraph sets forth  a Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy with respect to any
Product, and a Customer shall not have any other remedy or remedies at law, in equity, or otherwise.

4. NO OTHER WARRANTIES
EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT EXPRESSLY PROVIDED FOR IN THIS POLICY, SEA GROUPS HEREBY
EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ANY AND ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES,
WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHETHER ARISING BY
CONTRACT, AT LAW, IN EQUITY, BY STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, WITH RESPECT TO THE
PRODUCTS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, AND
WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ANY WARRANTY AGAINST, AND ANY
WARRANTY AGAINST INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS UNDER
THE LAWS OF ANY JURISDICTION, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY PATENTS, TRADEMARKS,
OR COPYRIGHTS.
